Then read on!We are currently seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer who will be responsible for assessing the quality and reliability of our software products.In this role, you will:
Collaborate with a cross-functional, cross-site team of developers and product owners.
Review software requirements, designs, and code with a focus on testability and finding problems early.
Conduct exploratory testing sessions to uncover defects, assess software behavior under different conditions, and identify potential risks.
Design and perform tests based on requirements as well as document and perform all software test and verification work meeting company procedures and applicable regulations and standards
Participate in planning and estimation activities. .
The required qualifications for the job include:
Bachelor’s degree preferably in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of experience with test protocol authoring and exploratory testing.
Comfort learning new tools and technologies.
Demonstrated analytical skills, problem-solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience with:
Context-driven testing environments and/or training (e.g. Rapid Software Testing, Black Box Software Testing).
Projects that involve both software and hardware components.
Design of Experiments or other statistical or risk-based approaches to evaluating systems.
Software verification of medical devices and working knowledge of FDA Quality System Regulation.
