We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer who is passionate about bringing a world leading simulation software for the development of biopharmaceutical production processes into the cloud to join our team in Karlsruhe, Germany. As a Full Stack Software Engineer , you will be working together with the GoSilico simulation software development team and convert our established on premise simulation solution into a cloud-based digital application for our international customers in the area of Biopharma research, development and manufacturing.
What you’ll do
Build new cloud-first software products for pharma companies, to help accelerate the development of new life-saving drugs
Work with the product architect to understand performance, security, scalability, and availability requirements, and build systems meeting those requirements
Focus on backend, but occasionally work with UX experts to create user-friendly and responsive user interfaces
Contribute to the improvement of our emerging digital application portfolio by proposing best practices and participating in design reviews
Consistently deliver maintainable and efficient code, serve as a mentor for junior team members
Who you are
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in building enterprise applications
Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, AWS services, React
Experience with version control, CI/CD pipelines
Desired: Experience with S3, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB
