The Manager, SAP Security is responsible for managing the SAP Security team and own ing overall security and controls, partner ing with Business Teams to meet business needs while providing a secure and auditable SAP environment that is aligned with the security and SOX compliance policies with a goal to have satisfactory audit rating.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Manage SAP security team requiring detailed knowledge of SAP Authorization concepts in an Enterprise environment (Single/Composite roles and role derivation), securing custom development transactions, maintaining SU24, understanding critical transactions/objects and design concepts , and incident resolution.

  • Develops SAP roles and profiles to minimize business risk and ensure clear Segregation of Duties. Understands dependencies and interrelationships between separate functional modules and SAP systems. Provides functional and configuration support in designing SAP authorizations and roles.

  • Understands the business processes and applies that knowledge to develop SAP access controls and solve user access problems. Participates in user access requirements gathering, blueprinting and documentation.

  • Participate in internal and external audits, working with audit teams to ensure appropriate control and monitoring are in place to support our business.

  • Develop and maintain security processes to ensure compliant, efficient, and timely approval of access throughout the SAP landscape.

  • Knowledge of creating / reviewing existing Custom Ruleset (Rule Building), identifying improvements, opportunities, and remediating identified violations

  • Provision of guidance and support to multiple Cutover and Project Managers through all phases of project deployment, including SI’s, Contractors, Governance Teams, and Key Business Contacts.

    The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 15+ years' experience with SAP Security Design, Implementation and Administration and 5+ years' experience configuring, deploying, and maintaining GRC tools , MSMP, ARA and mitigation controls.

  • Experience with SAP authorizations in S4, ECC, SAP Fiori

  • Proven experience with analyzing and resolving complex authorization problems utilizing SAP standard tools

  • Understanding of latest tools and technologies, including Identity Management, Mobile solutions, and Cloud solutions

  • Ability to work under pressure, manage/lead a team of highly technical resources and proven ability to self-manage and work with minimal supervision producing quality work.

  • Be pro-active and take initiative to plan and strategize future work streams and growth and encourage teams to do the same.

  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and strong interpersonal skills.
