The Discovery Account Manager for Cytiva is responsible drive effective territory plans to achieve Order, Sale and Market Opportunities.

This position is part of the Discovery business located in Thailand and will be fully remote. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Identify, develop and implement effective territory plans to achieve orders, sales, and market opportunities.

  • Identify, onboard, and effectively manage channel partners.

  • Strategically grow the existing customer base and build close customer relationships.

  • Penetrate target accounts with high levels of customer activity.

  • Prepare & complete weekly call plans, meeting plans & customer visit reports to meet agreed sales projections with the Discovery ASEAN Zone Leader.

  • Create Customer Plans for Assigned Accounts Including Sales Potential, Opportunities, Operating Structure, Sites, Contacts, and Other Information as Needed

  • Understand the customer needs, expectations, wants and demands to provide customer solutions.

  • Prepare & update the sales funnel and opportunities via SFDC daily.

  • Provide Business Analysis and territory information as requested, including Sales Plans, Trend Data, sales forecasts, Customer information, Opportunities and Activities

  • Track Competitor Activity and provide differentiation to gain market share.

  • Interface with Sales Management and Marketing

  • Implement strategies to further develop key accounts and develop target accounts into key accounts.

  • Conduct / attend seminars, training, morning teas, trade conferences, etc.

  • Perform with integrity & carry out other duties as required.

    The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Biotechnology related discipline

  • Comfortable with domestic and global travel

  • Familiarity with chromatography, filtration and separation devices and methods

  • Knowledge of laboratory techniques and practices in the following areas/industries is essential:- Life Science Research (e.g. cell culture, protein purification)- Pharmaceutical QA/QC laboratory- Microbiology laboratories.

  • 3 years' experience minimally in a scientific supply or technical sales company or laboratory experience.

  • Highly motivated, organized and results driven.

  • Customer focused by visit and connect with end customers.

  • Ability to work autonomously and multi-task.

  • Ability to build strong relationships and networks.

  • Proficient skills in Microsoft office products and Customer Relationship database management

  • Industry and Customer Knowledge

  • Sales and Marketing Strategy/ Sales Action Planning

  • Strong communication, presentation & interpersonal skills

  • Team player who works well with senior stakeholders

  • Negotiation Skills

  • Cultural Knowledge and Sensitivity
