We are looking for a Field Application Support Specialist - Capillary Electrophoresis (CE) (m/f/d)

The role is responsible for providing high quality technical support and expert advice to our customers ensuring successful implementation of our capillary electrophoresis product range in protein and nucleic acid analysis. You will continually increase your knowledge and expertise by accessing cutting edge technology immediately on release, helping customers develop methods and applications, attending technical and scientific conferences, interacting with key opinion leaders, and being an active member of the Sciex Application Network.

This 2 years limited remote position is part of the EMEA Support Organization and is preferably located in the greater London area.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Provide efficient and successful support to Sales through joined customer visits, product/application demonstrations

• Analyze samples submitted by prospective customers in our laboratory in Alderley Park (UK) and present results

• Provide post-sales support, in-house and on-site training, troubleshooting, telephone support in a timely and professional manner to guarantee high-level customer satisfaction

• Liaise with local and global network to effectively support the installed base

• Provide internal feedback on technical issues and share ideas to improve product features

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor of Science or higher degree in chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology or equivalent experience

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Enthusiastic to work independently and strong focus on self-responsibility

• Strong customer focus and ability to interact with different cultures

• Willingness to travel within UK and possibly EMEA (average 2days/week; mostly day trips)

It would be considered a plus if you also possessed previous experience in:

• Usage of CE instrumentation and software

• Sample preparation and method development for CE applications
