The Field Service Engineer for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for servicing, repairing, and installing a wide range of our products and IT solutions at customers sites. We are looking for a professional, motivated, friendly, independent, and technically able individual who will do what it takes to look after our customers and represent our high standards.
This position is part of the North Field Service Team and will be working within the North of England and Scotland to include Newcastle, Lancaster, Edinburgh and Glasgow at Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Promote a self-motivating, professional image to all customers and employees.
Continuously seek to add value to the services provided and achieve first time fixes, leading to reduced breakdown times, lower costs to customer, thus gaining customer satisfaction and retention whilst helping to achieve market leadership.
Working closely and communicating professionally with regional teams and other internal departments to build relationships that result in exceptional customer satisfaction.
Ensure preventative maintenance inspections and service modifications are completed in the specified time frames.
Ensure an effective quality system through accurate and timely completion of all paperwork and reports.
Achieve departmental goals and objectives to meet the company’s operational plan.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Weekend working is expected on a 1 in 4-week basis.
Ability to problem solve complex technical issues.
Experience maintaining electro-mechanical / electrical systems at customer sites.
Strong team-player with good trouble-shooting skills, someone who is motivated and driven to provide the highest level of customer experience.
Ability to travel when required.
