Purpose of Position
The position Sales Engineer Hydro is responsible for achieving maximum sales volume, profitability, and market penetration and dominance in the UK for the hydro business.
Developing relationships at Economic Decision Maker level of End Customers and Partners.
Conducting Business Development Activities to build hydro project solution funnel.
Achieve sales goals and objectives that are in alignment with the company goals and objectives.
Manage project and sales opportunities. Monitor progress, meet agreed upon due dates and progress opportunities to next steps.
Communicate with other departments in our organization with focus on what sales can accomplish as next steps.
Stick to policies and procedures.
Establish a good customer experience.
Manage interdepartmental communication, especially when a situation is stuck.
Regularly visit on-site customers.
Provide high and open communication; to all customers and distributors and colleagues/supervisors in the region and in a timely manner.

Background and Skill Requirements
An undergraduate degree is required with no preference about the specific subject.
Minimum of 3-5 years of solid, progressive sales experience within an organization known for having a progressive sales function.
Formal sales training is preferred with strong preference given to exposure to value selling concepts and real customer needs focus.
Experience selling full solutions (hardware, software, services) is a preferred skill.
High potential performer with a solid track record of accomplishment and logical career progression.
Speaks fluent English, an additional language is a plus (German, French).
Delivers results; demonstrated track record of driving sales growth, customer expansion and market share growth.
Process orientation with a proven track record of profitable growth.
Has both strategic and tactical dimension and capabilities.
Can Do Attitude: While collecting and giving feedback and working on mid- and long-term improvements, actually mainly focusing on what is under own control and achieving goals with given means and current present timing.
Scope and Impact of Position Responsibilities
Responsible for top line revenue objectives and selected KPIs to improve performance and profitability.
Any location within UK (home office), travel 30-50%
