WATER QUALITY GROUP
Danaher`s Water Quality Business is a global leader in water quality analysis and treatment, providing instrumentation and disinfection systems to help analyze and manage the quality of ultra-pure water, portable water, wastewater, groundwater and ocean water in residential, commercial, industrial, and natural resource applications. Our water quality business provides products under a variety of brands, including HACH, ChemTreat, and Trojan Technologies.
*POSITION SUMMARY: * Provide effective administrative support in the preparation and coordination of documentation, communications, related tracking, and maintenance of the documentation specific to assigned department. Responsibilities include,but are not limited to creating reports and generating reports, analyzing information, electronic and hard copy filing and distribution, typing, copying, daily interface with internal customers, data entry, and other general office duties.
Hours: Monday thru Friday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm
This position supports the site leadership team and HR Department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Create, collect, analyze and distribute reports based on daily, weekly or monthly data using business system reporting tools. * Maintain critical documents and/or records. Gather, collate, store and dispose of documents and/or quality records for assigned department per guidelines. * Assist in New Hire Orientation process * General office assistance for department including but not limited to: o Schedule meetings and meeting rooms o Special event planning and coordination o Purchasing of supplies for the facility o Expense reporting * Work with leadership team and HR to create and send out monthly newsletter. * Take ownership and maintain the following programs: o Vendor lunch program o Grainger safety program o Brivo badge system * Prepare invoices, reports, memos, letters, financial statements and other documents, using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or presentation software. * Distribution mail throughout the facility. * Assist associates in questions * Responsible for maintaining the visitor lobby and log book. Other Non-Essential Functions * Miscellaneous responsibilities as assigned by the leadership team. * Compliance with company safety and housekeeping policies.
* HS Diploma or GED required; Associate’s Degree in administrative or business discipline or higher preferred. * Minimum of 1 year experience in an administrative assistant role preferred Skills: * Excellent written and grammar skills required. * Experience working with accounts payable. * Strong verbal communication skills. * Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) * Must possess working knowledge of general office procedures and processes. * Ability to maintain strict confidentiality * Self-motivated personality. * Strong attention detail * Advanced time management skills * Experience in problem solving PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
