POSITION SUMMARY:

The primary role of this position is to drive development and continuous improvements in the Engineering group. The Process Engineer develops improvements oriented at improving quality, reliability and lower total costs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement technologies, methods and techniques.

  • Defines processes and standard work.

  • Create justification and requests for capital expenditures.

  • Provides direction for cross-functional resource teams.

  • Coordinate the implementation of process changes.

  • Process design and evaluation.

  • Cross-functional support for engineering responsibilities.

  • Identify root cause and problem solve.

  • Provide training to associates.

  • Lead Kaizen events and sustain results.

  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • B.S. or equivalent in related Engineering or Technology degree; or equivalent work experience.

  • 1 or more years experience in related manufacturing process environment preferred.

  • Presentation aptitude.

  • Mechanical aptitude.

  • Ability to communicate with widely varied audiences.

  • Analytical skills.

    SCOPE:

The scope of work is defined as managing:

  • Small to Medium projects.

  • Project management.

  • Lead and participate in DBS / kaizen activities.
