The Sales Specialist Digital Pathology for Leica Biosystems is responsible for effectively developing the growth of the regional Digital Pathology business in the Benelux, ensuring the implementation of the Digital Pathology strategy, owning and leading the regional activity to win business from new accounts and existing Leica customers. This position is part of the Digital Pathology department and will be fully remote. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Execute the regional Digital Pathology business strategy – with a specific focus on market share capture.

  • Partner with the Account Managers team to manage the Digital Pathology sales opportunities at the regional level in large and medium size competitive accounts across the entire funnel process from lead to implementation.

  • Build and deliver Digital Pathology projects that match Customer needs & expectations.

  • Partner continuously with the Sales Enablement Manager, Regional Sales and EMEA Digital Pathology & Workflow Team to ensure consistent above-market growth.

  • Liaise with Distribution and Customer IT departments to effectively design and implement the Digital Pathology solution.

  • Research and develop new opportunities to increase Leica Biosystems' market share.

  • Support the tender response team on the technical application process.

The essential requirements of the job include the following:

  • University’s degree in Clinical IT or Engineering or Medical Sciences and a solid Sales experience in the Health Care IT environment, a proven track record in complex multi-stakeholder sales: knowledge of technologies, products, processes and selling/purchasing with the hospital environment, competitor and market awareness. In Imaging and Digital Pathology would be an advantage.

  • Understanding of LIS, HIS, PACS and other hospital and laboratory information systems.

  • Evidence of strong negotiation, influencing and collaboration skills

  • Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch, written and spoken.

  • Willing to travel within defined territory up to 80% of the time.
