The Service Specialist / Planner for Leica Biosystems is responsible for supporting our Service Organization and our Customers, acting as key point of contact. Determine/prioritize the right repair, installation and maintenance scheduling.

This position is part of the Service Team in the Benelux located in Amsterdam and will be hybrid, 3 days per week at the office. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives.

You will be a part of the Service Team and report to the Service manager..

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Call handling (phone/email), prioritize according to contract type, instrument type, type of customer complaint, or commercial considerations.

  • Plan preventive maintenance with close contact with the customers

  • Plan repair and installations according the priority and customer expectation

  • Schedule appointments in the calendar of the Field Service Engineers

  • Follow up on open repair orders & quotes

  • Order spare parts for maintenance, stocks or repairs to be shipped to the right location

  • Track spare parts delivery and plan visit accordingly

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Language Dutch fluent + English fluent, French level B1

  • A first successful experience incustomer support, planning & invoicing

  • Good organizational skills

    It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Familiarity with standard IT Tools (Windows, MS Office, SAP, Salesforce)

  • Communication skills on the phone
