Danaher Corporation Capital Projects Sales Manager in Ann Arbor, Michigan
The Capital Projects Sales Manager will be part of Pall’s North American sales organization. The successful candidate will drive direct sales activity at EPC accounts within North America. In this growth-oriented role, the candidate will be responsible for both account management and business development in accounts like Technip, CB&I, KBR, among others.

Promotion of Pall technology with EPCs and equipment packagers
Maintain and develop relationships with Accounts within the Americas region and develop business opportunities resulting in new orders within those key accounts/customers
To identify key projects within the EPC customer base and to secure the relevant enquiries from these projects
Develops a regional sales strategy for the assigned accounts to gain significant market share ensuring core growth and consistent delivery of financial targets.
Monitoring and reporting of sales against sales targets through Salesforce CRM
Review Technical and commercial evaluation, acceptance/rejection of enquiries received either directly from the customer or via our internal support team
Close liaison with other internal functions such as Field Application Scientists, Technical Service, Marketing, Order management and Lead Qualification team to ensure flawless customer support from initial interest to post-sales support
Aid the technical support team in the timely preparation and submission of technical and commercial proposals
Undertake post submission technical clarification and commercial negotiations
Working with Pall’s engineering, legal, finance and customer service groups to develop and secure new business
Providing general customer feedback and competitive intelligence to assist tactical and strategic marketing initiatives
Frequent client visits and follow up – at least 70% of the time – networking at all levels, recommending/specifying Pall as part of Customer Licenses and processes (for existing and new units)
Skills and Knowledge:
Background knowledge and experience of the EPC and Contractor market
Experience with process design, engineering, and product design
Commercial awareness and experience
EPC value stream and project phase workflow background
EPC account management, selling skills and project management experience
Knowledge of the major processes within Oil & Gas, refining and petrochemical business sector.
Digital literacy – Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe PDF, ERP Software (SAP, etc.)
Technical product knowledge with filtration and separation equipment
Technical knowledge relating to mechanical design, engineering
Working knowledge of the principles and practices of commercial contract negotiation
Qualifications - External
Bachelor's degree in chemical or mechanical engineering preferred
2+ years’ experience in providing equipment to Petrochemical, Refinery, Gas Processing, and or Chemical industry. In exchange for sales experience, we will consider experience as a process/project/maintenance/service engineer looking to start a career in technical sales
Ability to work independently and use own initiative.
Must be prepared to travel as required (50% overnight for those outside Houston area).
Field based: capable of working remotely away from the office.
