Danaher Corporation Health and Welfare Benefits Senior Analyst in Ann Arbor, Michigan

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ongoing stewardship and annual performance assessments of Danaher’s Health, Prescription, and Wellness program including:

  • Oversee ongoing provider delivery, service level and contractual adherence

  • Provide strategic guidance and administrative support for absence management, Vacation and PTO programs

  • Manage and scale Danaher’s Employee Assistance, Mental Health, and Anti-Stigma and Mindfulness programs

  • Oversee Danaher’s Benefits Data Warehouse, our dynamic integrated solution to oversee benefit plan performance across plan offerings, employee segments, and throughout our lines of business

  • Support the integration of business acquisitions into the Danaher Benefit Program

  • Champion the ongoing efforts to optimize benefit plan engagement across Danaher employees

  • Lead initiatives to revise current and future administration delivery and communications to streamline benefit engagement across 3rd party administrators and providers, implement an ongoing Total Rewards Statement for U.S. Benefits

  • Deliver implementations of targeted point solutions for health and welfare delivery

  • Partner with Diversity & Inclusion, Talent Acquisition, and Learning & Development teams to bring authentic and relevant benefits programing to associates

  • Partner with the HR Operations team to establish process excellence via Danaher Business System tools/processes and through the use of technology.

  • Coach and develop the Corporate, Platform, and OpCo benefits team members to develop world class benefits capability

QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate must be an excellent communicator, intellectually curious and have a strong work ethic. The individual must be an independent thinker and self-starter with the bandwidth to multitask and work on several key projects at a given time. The individual should have the ability to participate in spirited give-and-take discussions about his or her work. It is important that the individual have superior interpersonal skills with an ability to work with people at multiple levels and be non- political in all dealings with agendas that are above board and understood by all. The individual must be comfortable working in a high-energy, quickly changing and demanding environment.

Education and/or Experience

  • BA/BS in related field; master’s degree preferred.

  • 7+ years of experience in Benefit Design and Delivery with an emphasis on designing and administering U.S. Health and Welfare Programs.

  • Strong project management acumen and expertise; experience in professional services/consulting highly desired.

  • Experience in the development and delivery of technology solutions that enable and enhance the execution of a corporation’s benefit programs.

  • Experience with administration of Short- and Long-Term Disability programs; outsourcing experience with these programs highly desired.

  • Experience with M&A due diligence and integration.

RELATIONSHIPS

  • Reports to the Manager of Health & Welfare Benefits

  • Position will have exposure to senior management, including the Director of Benefits, VP of Total Rewards, CHRO, VPs of HR, CFO, Platform EVPs, OpCo Presidents

  • Platform and OpCo HR and Benefit leaders

  • Key external relationships: Benefit Plan Administrators, Plan Providers, Consultants, Plan Actuaries, and external ERISA Counsel
