Danaher Corporation EEMEA SCIENTIFIC MARKETING MANAGER in Atasehir Istanbul, Turkey

The Scientific Marketing Manager serves as the liaison between the business and partners in the commercial organization with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and customers in clinical and research laboratories, professional societies, government agencies, advocacy groups, and other customers/market influencers. Additionally, this position supports a broad range of internal cross-functional activities, working closely with marketing, sales, research & development, and regulatory to ensure alignment between the strategy, activities and commercial execution. The scope is EEMEA region (Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa) covering the subject areas such as Immunoassay, Clinical Chemistry and Hematology.

Responsibilities:

Include but not limited to the following:

  • Develop and deliver educational content training targeted at both internal teams and external partners

  • Build collaborations with academics and other institutions.

  • Participate in professional associations, standardization consortia, and advocacy organizations.

  • Perform Literature Monitoring with global teams, support cascading key clinical information and talking points to customers and international partners

  • Support EEMEA Product Management and Marketing Communication team in product positioning and clinical- value messaging

  • Contribute to market insight and in the development of competitive marketing arguments

  • Ensure detailed Policies' surveillance with countries

  • Anticipate and evaluate market drivers, including regulatory and reimbursement policies as well as changing practice guidelines.

  • Acquire “voice of the customer” via interviews, focus groups, and market research activities

  • Establish clinicians and Key Specialist networks, engage and coordinate activities, provide experienced technical resource for “Doctor-to-Doctor” level discussions with customers and potential customers

  • Contribute to the preparation and implementation of market access tactics

  • Collaboration with Key Opinion Leaders/customers on scientific studies to support product claims/adoption of new products

Education

  • PhD in Biological Sciences or Medical Doctor

Experience

  • At least 3-5 years in IVD industry

  • Experience in teaching or customer facing activities will be an asset

Required skills

  • High-end communication skills including conversational and presentation proficiencies with diversified target audience

  • Ability to satisfy customer’s expectations

  • Ability to prioritize projects independently

  • Ability to work in a matrix environment.

  • Excellent English, additional local languages are a plus

  • Outstanding collaboration skills

  • Capable of consolidation and simplifying sophisticated scientific notions to explain to a large audience

  • This position requires frequent national and international business travel up to 50% per month.
