The Director Regional Commercial DBSL – Americas is responsible is responsible for the thoughtful application of the Danaher Business System (DBS) in the geographic business regions (AMER) for the commercial organization at SCIEX. This role is a partner to the Regional VP/GM of the region (commercial leader) and must advocate, uphold, and innovate SCIEX DBS capabilities at all levels within the Regional Sales, Service, and Regional Marketing teams, inclusive of the functional leadership partner(s). The successful candidate will have executive presence and the ability to drive to results as a trusted member of the senior commercial leadership team. This individual will lead from the front and help the commercial leader prioritize the most impactful actions and countermeasures to risk with consistent data-driven insights.
This position is part of the DBS Department and will be located in US Remote.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Strategy and Policy Deployment: Provides support and guidance to the team on how to apply DBS tools to Commercial components of Strat & PD and translates strategy into actionable goals.
HVC and Commercial Equation: Supports the Global Commercial DBSL and relevant Commercial Leader(s) in assessing the Commercial Organization with the Holistic View of Commercial (HVC) and managing to the Commercial Equation, utilizes both to identify opportunities for improvement.
Manage Commercial Kaizen Funnel: Prioritizes and aligns a Kaizen Funnel for main Commercial Initiatives – and supports the teams by ensuring DBS Kaizen Standards, Best Practices, and Sustainment.
Manage Commercial DBS Certification Pipeline: Builds DBS skills across the Commercial Organization by helping the Commercial Leader prioritize DBS tool certification needs, identify candidates, and supports those candidates throughout the process.
Teach DBS and Nurture DBS Culture: Leads DBS-related events and trainings and serves as the DBS standard-bearer for the Commercial Organization.
Drive DBS Fundamentals into the Commercial Org: Ensures that DBS Fundamentals are adopted and used appropriately within the region, advocating the use of daily management, problem-solving (PSP) with urgency and a bias toward action.
Oversee Deployment of Commercial DBS Tools: Assures appropriate use, proper deployment, and ongoing sustainment of new DBS tools – and drives for innovation in the creation of tools by SCIEX when possible.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Minimum bachelor’s degree in a Science, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; master’s degree preferred.
Minimum 7 years in a sales, sales management, sales operations, or similar role OR equivalent time in a position dedicated to continuous improvement.
Demonstrated knowledge of Analytical Tools industry or similar experience a plus.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
- Ability to travel – 35 % travel, overnight, within the US, occasional international travel.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Strong process orientation, problem solving skills, and a commitment to delivering results.
Ability to perform exceptionally in fast paced, performance-oriented environment with a sense of urgency.
Experienced influencer capable of managing / leading teams all levels of an organization, including executive level, without direct authority.

The salary range for this role is 120,000-160,000 USD. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
