The Senior Staff Engineer for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for driving the architecture, design and development of Next Gen IoT solutions and Remote Software Update solutions for all next generation Beckman Instruments.

This position is part of the Systems Software and Automation (SSA) located in Chaska or REMOTE. At SSA, our vision is to deliver platform solutions that impacts all our Instrument BUs.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Define the technical roadmap for SSA team

  • Collaborate with other business units to gather user needs and architect solution using the best-in-class technology

  • Be the technical leader for the overall development of the solution

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • 12+ years of Global Software development experience with a Bachelors or equivalent education background in Computer Science, Electrical or other relevant engineering stream

  • Prior experience(s) of all facets of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

  • Technology Stack experience in C# .NET WPF / Java, Angular / React js, AWS / Azure cloud deployment experience, Database – MySQL, SQL, Postgre or similar

  • Prior experience on designing, developing and deploying Cloud based application

  • Past experience of requirement management, stakeholder management and Technical leadership experience

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Ability to develop product ready software and knowledge sharing and tech talks

  • Work in Global scrum teams and technical mentorship of resources

  • Develop frameworks that can then be delegated to software teams to use and build the overall application
