Job Summary:

The Project Coordinator Manager provides performance management for the Project Coordinators. They manage day-to-day support for the Project Coordinators, performs system checks, conducts PC training, and manages workload. They will also need to ensure that business goals, deadlines and performance standards are met. The Project Coordinator Manager will motivate and promote overall Project Coordinator growth and development.

Responsibilities:

  • Coach and mentor Project Coordinators for continued growth.

  • Serve as day-to-day support and resource for Project Coordinators

  • Collaboratively work with the Manager, Project Management and Manager, Client Relations for alignment on Project Coordinator responsibilities.

  • Manage workflow of the Project Coordinators, creating team schedules and delegating tasks.

  • Assess work performance of team members and identify and coach on areas for improvement.

  • Perform systems checks to ensure accuracy and timeliness of tasks by Project Coordinators.

  • Onboard new hires and ensure successful, efficient training of Project Coordinators

  • Set goals for team members in alignment with the company’s strategic vision and corporate goals and regularly evaluate progress towards those goals.

  • Report performance records and evaluations to HR and Manager of Project Management.

  • Develop materials to effectively train Project Coordinators and implement new and updated processes.

  • Assist with workload as a backup for Project Coordinators as needed.

  • Identify and train team members on best practices.

  • Complete special projects to support Program Management team

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years prior experience as a Project Coordinator or Project Manager required

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Communication, Project Management, or related field Skills & Knowledge

  • Highly organized and strong attention to detail

  • History of creative problem solving and conflict resolution

  • Strong training and presentation skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to promote and maintain a highly collaborative culture

  • Ability to successfully prioritize tasks and time

Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 plus bonus + benefits
