Analyze customer process user requirements and tender specification for engineered process equipment (including different technologies such as direct flow filtration, cross flow filtration, etc.) for automation and controls part.
As technical lead discuss, propose and define final engineered technical system solution with the customer including assistance in writing technical part of quotation and associated costing. After Order placement execute the proposed engineered system solution based on agreed and defined contractual specification together with a defined project team as project manager.
Make sure the system is delivered in accordance to specification, on time and within budget.
30 % Responsible for the detailed technical clarification (technology selection, design testing etc.) on requested equipment, including to take on the responsibility and ownership for the proposed equipment during project
50 %Technical elaboration and vendor management of detail design (including functional specification as a base for the process coding, define and creation of instrument, valve, apparatuses and fitting lists etc.).
10 % Respect current good engineering practice and industrial standards applicable for the project and work in accordance to our established quality management system.
10 % Responsible for providing technical recommendations in critical questions to the other team members while acting as a coach/trainer
Qualifications & Experience:
Automation technician or BSc/MSc or equivalent in Software, Automation or Controls engineering, or equivalent
Proven experience of automation & controls engineering of equipment used in process industry
Skills in HMI and PLC Programming on Siemens & AB Rockwell platforms, Win CC, Tia Portal, PROLEIT
Knowledge in Automation design, Controls & BUS communication architectures
Ability to design automation systems on the assigned projects to meet customers expectations in product design and project execution quality.
Ability to read and understand all related technical documents and ability to check the technical documents created by others
Ability to detect, understand and manage technical project risks using appropriate tools for risk analysis and set up the required technical counter measures
Ability to handle Engineering changes that may come up during the course of the project including all related information and communication / agreements w/r to cost/time impacts.
Knowledge and understanding of the current industry guidelines for designing, manufacturing, testing and documenting food and beverage process equipment.
Language skills German and English
