The Indirect Strategic Sourcing Agent, EMEA will serve as the Indirect Lead in EMEA with a concentration on Facilities, MRO and Fleet. This role will support indirect sourcing projects and activities in EMEA (based on business needs). Additional support to the indirect sourcing department may be required based on team needs.
These activities will include, but not limited to significant interaction with all business units and functions to provide Global Sourcing, Outsourcing, contract Management, supplier relationships and strategy in line with corporate strategy. The role will require interaction with other Strategic Sourcing/Category Managers, both regionally and globally.
The Fleet responsibilities will include the administrative duties for the centralized fleet covering various countries across Europe. (Germany, UK, France, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Poland, Netherlands) They will provide strategy and an appropriate level of tactical execution for fleet. Process and manage all Fleet requests and inventory.
This position will support, monitor, evaluate, and mentor the local tactical purchasing team members and site leads while ensuring policies and procedures regarding compliance, commitments, early involvement, supplier selection, supplier evaluation, and supplier development related to the category are understood and implemented. The role is part of the Global Integrated Supply Team and will be based onsite in Bad Kreuznach, Germany.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Key Performance Indicator (KPI) ownership: Cost Savings Target, Cost reduction, Supplier Payment Terms/Days Payable Outstanding (DPO), e-Auctions, Purchase Volume (PVO), and Supplier Performance/metrics.
Ownership of Strategic Sourcing Processes and Compliance, including: Cost Savings Project funnel management/execution, Strategic Sourcing Visual Management, Supplier Master Data, and Sourcing Review documentation
Legal interactions, including: Supplier Non-Disclosure Agreements, legal interactions between Pall and Supplier(s), Long Term Agreement & Master Service Agreement (LTA / MSA) review, Data Privacy Agreement
Supplier Relationship Management tasks, including: Supplier Visits (internal and external), Supplier Meetings, Supplier Review, LTA/MSA contract administration. Manage workflow – new vehicle request, returns, repairs, questions. Ensuring all fleet members have proper licensure and up-to-date training
Organizational Collaboration: Liaison with Facilities/Site leads (may require travel to sites or suppliers). Liaison with HR, Stakeholders / Drivers (may require travel to sites or suppliers). Enforce Pall Purchasing and Strategic Sourcing Policies and Procedures. Use data analytics to make recommendations and drive supply-base improvements.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s Degree in procurement, supply chain, or relevant experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in category management, global strategic sourcing, purchasing, supplier relationship management, or equivalent for a global multinational manufacturing company.
Minimum 3 years of experience in sourcing multiple categories including facilities required.
Minimum 3 years of experience in fleet and/or travel experience required
Proven negotiation skills, with demonstrated performance results.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Experience in SAP is preferred.
Experience utilizing electronic sourcing tools (eRFQ, eBid, eAuction, etc.)
Fluent English and German speaker with excellent verbal and written communication skills
