We are looking for a BDM - Sales Support Specialist, Design-In to work with our expert Cell and Gene Therapy team of 220 employees across the world. Do you have a passion for Cell and Gene Therapy? Then we would love to hear from you.
What you’ll do
Develop and sustain manufacturing process maps for current and novel cell therapy molecules and products, while partnering with the appropriate sales specialists to proactively design-in Cytiva technologies and capabilities. Continuously map design-in activities of key process steps in the customers' cell therapy product pipeline. Connect with global teams as molecules/therapies extend to various countries, companies and/or partnerships.
Responsible for managing and growing the design-in base of the identified molecules through the life of the molecule, while tracking the use of Cytiva and noon-Cytiva equipment, reagents, services and processes during each manufacturing step. Data to include in the process maps will come from Marketing materials, scientific publications, internal knowledge, company analytics (VC funding, partnerships) and industry news.
Data will be managed in SalesForce.com (SFDC). SFDC Dashboards and Reports will be generated and run to provide updates to the Regional and Global Commercial team members. Data generated will also be used for internal resourcing (Marketing, R&D, Product Management). Data and reports will generate and provide continuing guidance around design-in strategies for the business.
Work closely with sales specialists to coordinate activities, develop and execute global strategy for design-in, improve and maintain design-in mapping, maximizing sales across the process. Strategy development, tracking and execution of the business units' lead generation program related to customers' early stage drug development initiatives. Work closely with Marketing to optimize data, reports and metrics to develop Marketing and Commercial assets (Battle cards, case studies, value prop, etc.)
Partner closely with commercial leaders and sales specialist to optimize the lead generation and lead handling process to progress opportunities through the sales funnel.
Who you are
BS /BA in life science with 3-5 years minimum relevant experience in Biotechnology; Cell & Gene Therapy preferred.
Ability to work and collaborate cross functionally in a matrix organization capitalizing on strong communication skills to articulate the ‘why’ behind the strategy, the vision and establishing accountability.
Understanding of Cell & Gene Therapy drug development process, regulatory drug approval processes, and customer sales cycle
Experience working in a global environment at all levels of the business internally and externally.
Experience managing and analyzing complex, long term initiatives to completion by engaging and inspiring others.
Commercially focused & self-starter, able to prioritize, set and achieve targets.
Knowledgeable in SFDC and Microsoft Office.
