The Product Specialist will develop and execute a successful sales strategy for rapid revenue growth and market share expansion in region, work across territories to drive new business in competitive accounts while exceeding customer expectations. The territory will cover CT, RI, NYC Metro, NJ, DE, DC, VA and MD.
All the responsibilities we will trust you with:• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual product sales goals set for the territory• Work in coordination with local team• Maintain accurate and timely prospect and customer data in SFDC• Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through delivery of sales and support assistance• Maintain accurate and timely account strategy and opportunity planning information in SFDC
Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
• 3+ years relevant sales (or equivalent) experience AND a Bachelors Degree• Contract negotiation/high level selling experience or selling in a matrixed environment• Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM• Experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
*Prefer Degree in Life Sciences or Master’s Degree in Business/MBA with Diagnostics, Life Science
*Prefer prior Pathology experience as well as prefer capital sales experience
Internal Candidate Requirements:• Promotion - P2 GCRF level applicant:o Perform 90%+ to quota 2 out of 3 years (Within year is year to date)o 18 months in role (or business justification)
• Lateral Move - P3 GCRF level applicant:o Perform 85%+ to quota year to dateo 18 months in role (or business justification)o Requires Sales Director approval
