Description
Purpose: • Generate Business Growth by developing New Opportunities in Oil and Gas/ Muni Business in the Water Space for Hach India ( USD 5 M in 2-3 years) • Key resource in the pipeline for handling senior positions in the next 3-4 years • Driving the SEE MORE- WIN More – Large Tender/ Muni Business for Hach India

Roles & responsibilities: • Understands the market dynamics and is able to create and deploy strategic initiatives ( Gain Share , Grow the Market , ensure optimal Product /Portfolio mix, improve margins) by understanding the key customers and their buying process and other market imperatives • Ability to Funnel Growth of Business to %$ 5 M in span of 2- 3 years. • Generate Business Funnel of USD 5 Million from Various Segments such as Oil and Gas, Power, Municipal Operations • Liaison with EPC’s/ Engineering Consultants for driving Hach specification • Ensure delivery of large integrated/complex project orders ( > $ 100K) to customers within contractual timelines across India. • Support sales team during bidding stage to provide costings for local components. • Able to understand customer specific sample handling, purge panel requirements and able to design these systems as per the customer specifications. • Identify and evaluate sub vendors for sourcing local items essential for timely projects execution. • Shall work closely with inhouse design engineer and also sub vendors for engineering drawings. • Will be point of contact for factory acceptance tests (FAT) at Hach warehouse or integrator warehouse and ensures approval from 3rd party inspection agencies/consultants. • Supports sales team in providing required documentation for registrations at major project consultants. • Engages key internal stakeholders (supply chain, service, finance and sales teams) and external stake holders (customer reps, inspection agencies, vendors) to ensure the quality of overall delivery is maintained high • Guides Sales team on critical execution issues during commercial negotiations in pre-order stage • Kick off meeting with internal stake holder and customer along with contract review

Candidate “must haves” – a. Bachelor of Mechanical/Electrical/instrumentation- with 10 to 12 years of Project or Business Development Experience b. AutoCAD Drafting for P&ID Preparation. 2. Candidate “good to haves” a. Experience in Instrumentation / analytical equipment sales b. Experience of handling Projects of Business Size 10 to 15 M Per year (Depending upon the Project Scope) c. Education in Business management or prior experience of working in business management roles 3. Candidate “no-go’s” – a. No Project Management Experience with low skills in Execution Management Behavioral Aspects 1. Team player 2. Self motivated with can do attitude who can inspire team for larger goals 3. Ability to structure a solution in uncertain situation 4. Ability to lead team and collaborate with the Sales Associates & Zonal Managers 5. Ability to do multitasking in high paced complex business dynamics
