The Automation Engineer for Leica Biosystems is responsible the below activities

  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for functional testing.

  • Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements and design robust test plans and cases.

  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of the testing process.

  • Assist in setting up and maintaining test environments.

  • Document test results and provide regular updates on testing progress and issues.

  • Learn and apply new automation tools and frameworks

  • Explore available automation tools in the market for project requirements

This position is part of the LBS Automation in Bangalore and will be hybrid. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Work on software automation

  • Work on instrument automation

  • Work on including relevant components of intelligent automation in our framework

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • Basic understanding of software development and testing methodologies.

  • Familiarity with programming languages such as C#, Python, or JavaScript.

  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
