We are looking for an exceptional Solution Architect who has started their Enterprise journey or is ready to. You must be experienced in leading other architects as you will be driving our interoperability innovations. Your extensive background in software architecture and design will enable you to instil a design ethic across our product portfolio through collaboration with our globally diverse software delivery teams.

Reporting to the Senior Director Portfolio Solutions, your responsibilities will include:
Provide architectural leadership to LBS’ Solution and Software Architects with accountability for definition and delivery of LBS’ Interoperability goals. In doing so, the incumbent will influence new product design and changes to existing products.
Define an architectural roadmap that supports a progressive transition across our product portfolio to a future state of Interoperability that aligns with LBS’ strategic vision.
Lead adoption of relevant architecture methods and notations to improve communication across and within our global software delivery teams.
Strike a balance between conceptual and analytical thinking and the need to get things done practicality and pragmatically.
Initiate and facilitate architectural discussions and workshops with key technical and product stakeholders driving to outcomes while maintaining relationships across LBS Business Units.
Work with LBS Program and Project teams to align on architectural direction with view to accelerate delivery and remove roadblocks to progress.
Encourage close and effective working relationships between teams and ensure proper regard for standardised processes.
Influence architectural direction and present rationale and business justification to C-Suite.
To be successful in this opportunity, a prior experience in the following criteria is required:
A minimum of five (5) years’ experience acting as a Solution Architect with responsibility for overall solution definition built on a background of active software development. Experience in the enterprise architecture domain will be highly valued.
Expertise and knowledge of .Net and Azure Cloud development domains, actively maintaining awareness of the technology horizon including Cloud environments and Security solutions.
Experienced in deriving architectures (multiple views) from requirements through a structure method and able to document and communicate using industry wide notations such as UML, BPMN etc
An exceptional communicator; able to confidently present to an audience at all levels, verbally articulate, draft meaningful and effective PointPoint presentations and high quality technical and business documents.
Have established or significantly contributed towards the establishment of an enterprise level Architecture function/team.
Tertiary qualification in software engineering with proven knowledge of contemporary enterprise architecture and technology frameworks and methodologies (e.g. TOGAF, Prince2, Lean and Agile).

A proactive, flexible, and agile mindset with the ability to balance current and new architecture in the context of challenging business demands.
Demonstrate strong analytics and critical thinking skills - question design choices with a key focus on security and sustainability.
Highly organized with ability to prioritise quickly and focus on critical few with drive to action. Not afraid to question “why” and seek innovative solutions to problems. Able to address difficulties or resistance among team members to enable them to overcome roadblocks.
A motivated and driven professional with the ability to work independently.
Passionate about working in a global environment with people from a diverse and culturally rich background.
Highly Desirable Behavioural Competencies:
Postgraduate qualification or training relating to enterprise and solution architecture.
Experience working in a lean development environment.
Experience in developing system in a regulated environment.
