Danaher Corporation HR Data Analyst in Bangalore, India
As HR Data Analyst you are responsible for the HR Reporting, supporting analytics in main HR processes like the annual merit and bonus process, the execution of payroll for all associates in India and global Workday Pro and Workday security access responsible. You ensure compliance with local legislation and payroll tax requirements in the respective countries and prepare and file required reports.
Main responsibilities and key activities:
In this role, you will cover a broad variety of tasks, including HR reporting and analytics and payroll and related administrative tasks and supporting the local management team, international HR colleagues and business partners with administrative workflows. Specific tasks will be:
- You will be based in India, reporting centrally into the HR Headquarter in Ghent with dotted line to local HR for payroll related tasks.
HR Reporting & Data analytics - Corporate
- You are responsible for HR reporting: (1) Monthly on Headcount, associate retention, time to fill regionally & global (as part of the monthly closing cycle), (2) Ad hoc on compliance training tracking, Performance review status tracking, contingent workers leavers process tracking, Engagement status tracking, (3) HR Financial forecast quality checks and (4) support annual for compensation cycle (merit & bonus Esko global review).
Workday Expert - Corporate
You are the APAC Workday Pro, means expert in the tool for ad hoc and security questions.
You monitor the global Workday security access to allow the HR colleagues to have the proper access to work in workday
Payroll – Local India
Be the first line support for our 100+ associates in India for HR related questions, which you will answer yourself, or forward to the relevant HR experts in Europe.
You run and coordinate monthly payroll for Indian associates (this includes salary, time & attendance administration, commissions, incentives, equity, health and income protection, and retirement)
You support the HR team on employee mutations (new hires, leavers, transfers, promotions, organizational changes) by preparing legal documents, updating HR systems and personnel files; and follow-up on administrative tasks like gathering signatures, sending registered letters, legalizing documents.
You will follow-up and administer local insurance packages and providers.
Global Projects - Corporate
You will be responsible for recurring tasks like maintain email distribution lists, etc. that are linked to Workday data globally.
Contribute to various ad hoc HR projects and tasks; HR improvement projects (Kaizens and Problem-Solving Processes initiatives), ad hoc queries from Danaher corporate or finance/tax teamsThis position reports to the Global HR Shared Services Director (solid line) who is based in Ghent, Belgium, and dotted line to the HR Manager, South Asia.
Qualifications and professional knowledge:
Bachelor’s degree preferred (Human Resources management is an asset) or equivalent experience relevant to the job
Strong affinity with tools and systems. Experience with HR Management Systems (Workday) is considered a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel as the data analytics part will be mainly in Excel. This is both formulas driven (Vlookup and Pivot) as well as thinking data (what data do I need to solve the problem)
Related HR experience of at least 5 years in a multinational company with relevant payroll, employee Benefits & General Administration experience
Proficiency in English is required being part of a global team and US multinational.
