This position is for Beckman Coulter team located at Danaher India Development Center (IDC), Bangalore
IDC is a research and development center with the vision of accelerating product roadmaps across various Danaher business segments. Started in 2014, the center now hosts 650+ associates, for multiple Danaher operating companies focusing on Diagnostics, Life Science, and Environmental and Applied Science segments. The operating companies includes Beckman Coulter, Radiometer, Leica Biosystems, Danaher Digital, Hach, Leica Microsystems, HemoCue, Videojet, SCIEX, IDBS and Cepheid.
The IDC workforce comprises of various product engineering teams, working on development of software and hardware components of cutting-edge products for, Immunoassay, Chemistry, Hematology, Molecular diagnostics, Oncology, Neurosurgery and Water Quality. IDC has evolved as center of excellence for Cloud and data analytics, with significant contributions to the key informatics solutions. The teams consist of highly hardworking software & hardware engineers and development managers. The teams are supported by local Product managers, Quality & Regulatory and Intellectual property specialists.
The inhouse teams works in close coordination with other global R&D centers at US, France, Germany, Japan, Australia, Denmark and Sweden. Located at the center of Bangalore IT HUB, IDC is housed at state of art facility.
Product Security Administrator
This position provides Cyber Security support for the Commercial organization to provide a strategic advantage and general support to sales.
The Product Security Liaison is the cybersecurity product expert and provides real time support for all customer requests for cybersecurity information.
Has responsibility for Product Security Questionnaires (PSQ) completion and sustainment to meet the needs of the commercial organization. Builds interdepartmental relationships to facilitate PSQ completion. Holds discussions with customer and sales organization to answer customer cyber security questions and review agreements. Holds lead role in DoD-ATO technical activities. Drives product change process for security patches. Supports investigation process related to product security complaints. Communicates with development teams and supporting functions to develop product expertise. Manages and sustains existing cybersecurity documents.
Planning and scheduling the penetration tests.Coordinating with Product Champions to verify Risk Assessment of ProductReviewing the findings of the pentest and mentoring other teammates.Carry out Pentesting Web, Cloud, Thick Client ,Mobile, network, systems and IOTEvaluate ,mentor and assist to Product Team/Developers of range of penetration testing tools like Checkmarx, Nessus, Appspider, Burp,CA etcKeep up to date with latest testing and ethical hacking methodsDeploy the testing methodology and collect data.Report on findings to a range of stakeholdersMake suggestions for security improvementsEnhance existing methodology materialEnhance Automation Process with Scripting Knowledge or skills.Working Knowledge of Powershell and Python
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor of Engineering with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
Ability to work effectively across multiple departments
Self-motivated to complete tasks timely with competence; driven to self-educate and improve processes
Ability to multitask in strategic and tactical space
Strong verbal, written and presentation skills with ability to build trust
Results oriented with focused urgency, prioritization skills and ability to recognize/escalate issues appropriately
Can comprehend product specifications, architectural and high-level design, functional specifications.
Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed.
Certifications (OSCP,SANS ,Any Pentesting)
Experience managing information security in a medical device manufacturing environment is preferred.
Experience working with cloud services.
Knowledge of data encryption technologies.
Familiar with open source technology and software
Experience with implementation of Information Security standards, frameworks, and best practices for large corporate environments.
Direct experience with SOX, HIPAA, FDA, Safe Harbor, GDPR and other international or local security and privacy governance is preferred.
