Danaher Corporation Regional Sales Manager - OTT Hydro in Bangalore, India

Role- Regional Sales Manager - South & WestReports to- Sales Director, Water Quality Group IndiaJob Location- Bengaluru/ HyderabadOTT Hydromet manufactures and distributes Hydrological & Meteorological Instrument used to monitor water level, water flow & weather parameters. We are looking for a techno commercial person with minimum 7 years of work experience in similar fields to grab the growth opportunities in this growing segment.

Job Summary -

• Drive sales growth and increase market share in South & West regions of India• Deal with key customers in premier govt research institutes from IMD/ ISRO/ICAR/CSIR etc and Universities besides various state Water Resources Departments, CWC, Irrigation departments, Disaster Management authorities, renewable energy departments etc.• Drive value selling and value communication actions at key customers• Lead specification setting for our Hydro & Met products at key customers• Strategize and drive marketing and service offerings to key customers• Identify long term partners for Hydro businesses – SIS/ Distributors to increase market share• Develops, implements & sustains comprehensive sales plans/strategies to achieve annual booking and sales numbers• Ensure timely submission of technical and commercial offers and tenders• Coordination/Teamwork with supply chain & Service teams to ensure fulfillment of order to customer satisfaction.• Monitor and analyze competition activities in the sales territory Qualifications-• Minimum 7 years of sales / marketing & business development experience preferably to hydrology & meteorology customers • Prior experience of selling to government customers • Required – BE/ B Tech in Mechanical/ instrumentation/ electronics or similar • Experience with major MNCs will be an advantage • Industrial B2B selling to system integrators • Excellent presentation skills and competence in MS office
