Job Description
Working in an Agile environment you’ll be responsible for the team Test Strategy, co-ordinating the project Test team, reviewing estimates and test scripts and constantly driving quality and compliance.
With continuous improvement at the forefront, you’ll be keeping up to date with changing technologies and business requirements and adjusting plans as the need arises.
You’ll mentor Test and Engineering team members, sustaining a positive environment and with a DBS mentality ensuring efficiency of the team through objective metrics.
Key Responsibilities
Drive & Own test strategy & testing needs for RemoteService Azure IoT Cloud application team
Create, automate test plans & scripts to meet verification needs
Build a testing team to meet business requirements and end user needs
Interact with both business and technical partners to deliver high-quality products and services that meets/exceeds business, customer, and technical requirements
Provide suggestions for automation testing strategy
Perform various forms of testing to deliver quality application
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
Experience with software web application end to end testing.
Proven prior hands-on experience (8+ years) in testing and (3+ years) leading testing for web applications
Specialist knowledge in SDLC
Experience in various types of testing (Smoke testing, Stress testing etc…)
Experience in testing Azure IoT based application
Experience with Agile software development (scrum)
Experience with an automation framework is a plus
Experience of Medical Device Industry software is a plus
Experience in test management tool like QTP is a must
Experience is defect management tool like JIRA is a must
Excellent reporting skills to report the testing activities and progress
Upbeat and passionate about being successful and open to different technologies. Be familiar and comfortable with new technologies, taking the challenge up-front
An analytical attitude to independently analyze a system, requirement or problem and report on testing results.
Clear written and verbal communications skills. Attention to detail, self-motivated, creative, and flexible. Good time management and organizational skills
A proven teammate and problem solver with the ability to work collaboratively to brainstorm, uncover key issues, solve and recommend/implement solutions
