The Service Team Leader, Karnataka for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for Managing the field service technical team of Karnataka which comprises of 8 field engineers with the following responsibilities
Directs and controls the field service organization in a defined area.
Drive KPIs for the region by establishing customized goals for the territory
Channel partner service management
This position is part of the Technical Field Service located in Bangalore, Karnataka and will be Hybrid mode. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.
You will be a part of the Karnataka team and report to the Regional Service Manager, South responsible for
Managing service operations and service delivery in the territory
Cost control and manage collectables
Team talent management
Channel partner service management .

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Manage the FSE assignments in the territory for customer support. Primary responsible person in the territory for customer satisfaction. Manage installed base assignments to FSEs and perform periodic changes as needed.
Responsible for the service revenue and collectables in the territory. Manages service contracts and spares/ consumables billing
Responsible for the service escalation process. Leverage right resources to provide quick solutions to breakdowns, thereby improve customer TAT Confidential - Company Proprietary
Responsible for actions on collecting Voice of Customer and appropriate actions for customer satisfaction
Talent management: Responsible to manage training needs of field team as demanded by the IB. Manage performances of team. Responsible to drive associate engagement in the territory based on Engagement survey.
Coordinate and direct channel partner (distributor) activities related to service delivery of selected products.
The essential requirements of the job include: Graduation (Electrical/ Electronics/ Biomedical Engineering) with 10-15 years of experience, MBA/PGDBM
Minimum 2 Year experience in Team management
Technically competent with strong people skills to promote teamwork needed to achieve overall team objectives; ability to work in a matrix organization.
Experience with process improvements, quality management systems and procedures
Working experience in the field on one or more of Hematology, Biochemistry, Immunology, Microbiology instrumentation for large laboratories.
Has advanced specialized expertise in 2 or more product groups though a combination of job related training and adds value to the job and provide extended support to the team in the field
Works autonomously within the established procedures and practices Proposes improvements to existing processes and methods
Experience on MS office, Data analysis and having excellent verbal and written communication skills
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Any of the large instrumentation of Beckman Coulter
LIS and network implementation / support
Lab automation systems and/ or integrated systems
