What you’ll do
As a Software Architect, your responsibilities include:
Provide technical mentoring to a diverse team drawn from both internal R&D as well as from partner organizations who work remotely, following an Agile methodology
Lead technical direction, software design and architecture for a multi-generational release train as per the defined requirements of the product/platforms and ensure that the current software architecture is maintained
Lead cybersecurity assessment and remediation from a design and deployment perspective
Drive agile development methodologies for product development
Take responsibility for the end to end software development and delivery process
Ensure testability of the code to support test-automation
Participate in the verification and validation of the implemented features
Create Proof of Concepts and propose technological alternatives
Work with the Technical Lead to understand the current architectural choice, fix code issues etc.
Support for the setup of Continuous Integration and Deployment
Propose tools & technologies to help achieve technological goals
Work with onshore/offshore cross-functional team to effectively deliver the product
Who you are
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline (Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology) or equivalent.
10+ years of relevant work experience in Software Design and Development
Hands-on experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Security Development Lifecycle (SDL)
Strong knowledge in OOAD, OOPS, Design patterns, Unit-testing frameworks, and Agile processes
Hands-on experience in C++, VC++, C#, .NET (WPF, WCF), Universal Windows APP, SQL Server
Hands-on experience in architectural design principles such as MVC, MVVM, PRISM, etc
Hands-on experience in interoperability between managed & unmanaged code and inter-process communication
Experience in data structures, algorithms, database queries for SQL and Document-based databases
Experience with agile frameworks like Scrum and Kanban
Experienced in DevOps processes. Have knowledge of CI/CD and automation tools (Chef, Git, Jenkins).
Have knowledge of manual and test automation tools; HP QTP, VS Coded UI, Cucumber, Selenium, etc.
Excellent problem solving and the ability to work in a team environment
Excellent communication and experience in working with multiple stakeholders across geographies
Excellent team player with the ability to work independently.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Desired Characteristics
Candidates with experience in the design and development of Life sciences systems and knowledge of the Secure Development Lifecycle will be an added advantage
Prior experience in full cybersecurity compliance requirements of the Life Sciences industry will be preferred
Experience with the hardware interface layer and firmware code will be a huge advantage
