This position is for Radiometer team located at Danaher India Development Center (IDC), Bangalore
IDC is a research and development center with the vision of accelerating product roadmaps across various Danaher business segments. Started in 2014, the center now hosts 500+ associates, for multiple Danaher operating companies focusing on Diagnostics, Life Science, and Environmental and Applied Science segments. The operating companies includes Beckman Coulter, Radiometer, Leica Biosystems, Danaher Digital, Hach, Leica Microsystems, HemoCue, Videojet and Cepheid.
The IDC workforce comprises of various product engineering teams, working on development of software and hardware components of cutting-edge products for, Immunoassay, Chemistry, Hematology, Molecular diagnostics, Oncology, Neurosurgery and Water Quality. IDC has evolved as center of excellence for Cloud and data analytics, with significant contributions to the key informatics solutions. The teams consist of highly hardworking software & hardware engineers and development managers. The teams are supported by local Product managers, Quality & Regulatory and Intellectual property specialists.
The inhouse teams works in close coordination with other global R&D centers at US, France, Germany, Japan, Australia, Denmark and Sweden. Located at the center of Bangalore IT HUB, IDC is housed at state of art facility, measuring 120 K
Radiometer Medical is seeking a Solution Architect to assist in the Developing the Site Core solutions. You will be working in a team with software developers, designers, SW testers, and product owners. This position will be responsible for planning, Designing and Architecting our Sitecore solution and will play a pivotal role of our overall product design and Implementation.
The team is split between Denmark and India and resources in Denmark responsible for the Sitecore application and for handling the Product Backlog and developers in India.
Assist the Business stakeholders in defining requirements, scope and align expectations and acceptance criteria for new initiatives
Evaluate and propose technical options and effort estimates incl. defining limitations and risks
Lead final architecture assessments and create comprehensive architecture for a solution
Assist the PMO in building project plans and timelines
Assist the team in designing, building, delivering and maintaining solutions
Supervise, mentor and coach Developers and the Test Engineer
Ensure the overall technical vision for a particular solution is implemented
Assist the team in implementing a mature continuous integration and continuous delivery devops practice
Help the team in establishing and enhancing the testing process
5 years minimum of experience as a Solution Architect
Certified Sitecore developer (v9 preferred)
Should have relevant work experience in developing web-based software solutions with C#/.Net as well as in implementing multi-lingual/site Sitecore solutions
Advanced skills in analyzing, developing, implementing and maintaining application code in a variety of contexts
Experience with third-party integrations, and ideally with Azure AD token authentication and Power BI integration
Good understanding of data warehouse concept
Good solution infrastructure skills, including ability to recommend servers, databases, load balancing, performance metrics etc in a MS IIS/SQL environment
Creative mindset, both concerning suggesting solutions and services for customers to stakeholders as well as implementing solution and code design
Demonstrated excellence in communicating and presenting complex information to technical and non-technical partners
Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects
Experience of working in agile development methodologies with understanding of several aspects of SW development processes
Ambitious, performance oriented and able to work independently
Operational mind-set with focus on detail and quality oriented
Experience working with distributed team, multiple languages and are an open-minded and outgoing teammate
Flexible, willing to “really commit” while at the same time being an agile and fast learner.
