We are looking for a Technical Leader - Service Design & Development to work with our expert team of Services and R&D across the world. Do you have a passion for delivering Service design improvements for Life Sciences products? Then we would love to hear from you.
What you’ll do
Support team members through pair programming and code reviews.
Evaluate basic technology choices and eloquent trade-offs.
Apply principles of SDLC and Lean/Agile/XP/TDD/CI/CD methodologies to deliver high quality, secured, and scalable software modules.
Understand the needs of Design for Service and define new product features for both HW and SW.
Estimate efforts to develop software and Hardware features along with Subject Matter Experts.
Collaborate with stakeholders to align priorities and timelines to deliver crucial software features with quality & in a timely fashion.
Understand design trade-offs to make choices & set priorities for project execution.
Create user- and system requirements for products, and procedures for verification
Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product in collaboration with the team
Independently solve problems of "trouble shooting character" in project and/or line related work
Continuously work with improvements regarding ways of working
Who you are
Earned a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Computer Science or equivalent, Electrical, Mechanical)
Minimum 8 – 12 years’ experience in product design & development.
Minimum 4 years of industrial experience
UNICORN and chromatography knowledge with a strong customer Service focus are highly desired
Proficient in SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and all phases of it.
Skilled in Azure DevOps Boards/Repos/Pipelines to enable incremental software development.
Can deliver without supervision and know when to seek help
Knowledge & experience from software product development
Experience from work in multidisciplinary environments
Interest in user experience aspects and system and software workflows
Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken)
Demonstrated ability to deliver according to deadlines
Resourceful and proactive
Ability to take own initiatives and find ways to come to decisions
Ability to work and act cross-functionally in the organization
Structured and organized team player with good interpersonal skills
