Description
Job Purpose: * * * Provide leadership to Sales team deliver results on Zonal targets * Key resource in the pipeline for handling senior positions in the next 3-4 years _Duties and responsibilities_ Leading a team size of 7-8 associates comprising of Sales Executives, Key Account Managers and other sales associates with the responsibility to deliver quarterly targets for booking and shipping and grow the water analytics business in India • Understands the market dynamics and is able to create and deploy strategic initiatives ( Gain Share , Grow the Market , ensure optimal Product /Portfolio mix, improve margins) by understanding the key customers and their buying process and other market imperatives • Ensures Sales Funnel Review cadence across the team. Leveraging SFDC as a growth tool will be a key enabler for success in this role • Practices and evangelizes Danaher Business System Tools (Visual Management, Policy Deployment, Problem Solving Process, KPI) through the team • Provide leadership through effective communication of vision, active coaching and development while comparing sales results to goals and taking appropriate action to correct when necessary. • Ability to handle 40% of Hach’s business segment. • Ability to size up talent, provide them growth direction and mentoring to grow & develop within the organization

Qualifications 1. Candidate “must haves” – a. Engineer or Chemists with > 15 years of overall experience. Min 5 years of Sales experience. Need to have people manager experience of atleast 5 years with > 5 people team size. Graduation from premier education institute will be added advantage. b. 3-5 years experience in Industrial B2B sales in allied sectors like instrumentation, automation, controls, industrial low value ( < $20K) high volume goods through direct sales to end customers OR 5 years of Sales experience in premium FMCG MNCs (eg.Coke, Pepsi, Unilever, P&G etc) b.c. The candidate needs to be from premier organizations in high responsible positions (revenue generating positions) c.d. Strong written and verbal communication skills d.e. Experience of working in complex organization with multiple deliverables e.f. Work experience with renowned Indian or Foreign MNCs f.g. Atleast 2 years experience on renowned CRM system ( SFDC/ Oracle/ SAP or equivalent) 2. Candidate “good to haves” a. Experience in Instrumentation / analytical equipment sales b. Experience of handling business > $ 2 M ( depending upon the region) c. Education in Business management or prior experience of working in business management roles 3. Candidate “no-go’s” – a. Self centric Individual with limited or no experience in team management

Behavioral Aspects 1. Team player 2. Self motivated with can do attitude who can inspire team for larger goals 3. Ability to structure a solution in uncertain situation 4. Ability to lead team and coach sales associates with 3-10 years experience 5. Ability to do multitasking in high paced complex business dynamics
