We are currently seeking a Market Development Manager (f/m/d) who will be responsible for working with the field teams to understand customer needs and to determine the best strategies for increasing our market share. This role is a remote role and can be located anywhere in the EU.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Leverage a close understanding of the market and customers’ needs to build, implement and measure impact of local/regional demand generation initiatives.
Work directly with the Life Science Automation and Genomics sales teams to execute action plans that achieve the annual operating plan.
Positively impact sales force effectiveness through training, creation of relevant sales tools and working closely with the sales team.
Engage and cultivate strategic customer relationships to understand key market trends and to develop a strong network of reference contacts.
Collaborate with product line business units to translate business unit strategy and product positioning into geographically specific tactical business plans.
The required qualifications for the job include:
Marketing or economical degree, or a degree in a biotechnology field would be a plus
Couple of years of experience in a similar position
Experience in a biotechnology environment would be a plus
Strong communication skills
Fluent in English is a must, any other European language skills are highly welcomed
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Sales or marketing in the biotechnology industry
Experience positioning capital equipment and consumable product portfolios
