We currently offer the Service Manager Southern Europe position in Spain which will be fully remote.

You will lead a team of Field Service Engineers and Managers, developing, improving and motivating the organization to deliver best service customers would expect, making it the best place to work and targeting growth, efficiency and margin.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive business results and manage customer relationships in Spain, Portugal, France and Italy

  • Develop strong customer relationships and serve as the interface between customer and all internal Leica Microsystems teams and organizations

  • Lead service execution which continuously surpasses customer expectations

  • Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with the EHS policies and procedures and the Leica Microsystems Quality Management System

  • Drive change initiatives as required to improve efficiencies and execute on business commitments

  • Structure the countries and region to become best in class in regard to customers satisfaction, associates’ engagement, growth, profitability…

  • Identify and lead initiatives to continuously improve the Service Business. Promote and motivate direct reports and teams to contribute in continuously improving our service delivery, execution and commercialization.

OUR EXPECTATIONS:

  • Proven experience as people leader

  • Strong exposure to change management, conflict resolution and structures set-up

  • Solid experience in managing customer relationships

  • Very good Spanish and English communication and de-escalation ability.

  • Aftermarket service experience in the Healthcare, Life Science, industrial or IT markets is an advantage
