Danaher Corporation Sales Representative, Brazil in Barueri, Brazil

Based in São Paulo Metropolitan area, the Sales Representative will support and drive sales that support the growth of SCIEX Brazil business.

As part of Sciex’s vision to further expand on its market leading position in analytical instruments, the successful candidate will sell, promote and act as subject matter expert for mass spectrometry and capillary electrophoresis products. The incumbent implements the sales plan designed to achieve established sales and financial goals; calls on prospective and current company customers; involves technical personnel to resolve customers issues and problems as needed; may participate in the establishment of sales targets and design of the territory's sales plan; and controls sales expenses. Main responsibilities:

  • Responsible for such activities as funnel management, regular strategic pricing reviews, forecasting and meeting key performance and financial targets.

  • Deploy Strategic Initiatives building a solid Action Plan to ensure execution and discipline focusing in the territory.

  • Own and Drive new product and application introductions at Key accounts

  • Develop Strategic Technical, Application and Commercial collaborations with KOL’s that support the Brazil business.

  • Understand customer organizations by department, function, strategies, and key programs.

  • Master the basic features and benefits of the entire assigned portfolio of products.

  • Successfully integrate and collaborate with other SCIEX teams to provide value added selling strategies to gain synergistic growth.

  • Work with global business unit and marketing team to help define new product opportunities, develop positioning and ensure success during new product introductions; Product discontinuation.

  • Track and actively manage competitor activities and generate competitive Responses

  • Direct support sales activities including assessing potential markets, defining promotional activities and launching new products.

  • Operate in consonant with Compliance and Quality requirements and guarantee that customers / stakeholders will follow the same guideline to mitigate risks to the business

  • Work in partnership with internal areas and peers assuring effective communication and collaboration, anticipating situations and being resilient with possible delays related to processes that are crucial for the sustainability of our operation’s results.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • B.S in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related fields;

  • 5+ years of successful sales in the Life Sciences capital equipment market; experience in Sales of Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry products will be considered a plus;

  • Successful record in growing Life Science products, preferably related to separations sciences and/or mass spectrometry.

  • In depth understanding of the Brazilian market dynamics and segments.

  • Understanding of Mass Spectrometry an advantage

  • Proven track record of leadership of successful new product sales.

  • Track record of analyzing complicated business issues, synthesizing issues to the salient points, developing resulting action plans and executing for results

  • Track record of winning through share gain in competitive environments
