The Supply Chain/Operations Manager for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for coordinating all activities related to the supply chain, including, demand and supply planning, import and export, customer service, logistics, distribution, procurement in additional to fleet and EHS. This function plays a key role in ensuring that products are delivered on time, meeting customer needs and keeping costs under control, as well as inventory management aiming cash flow improvement. Problem solving mindset will be crucial for process improvements.

Demand and Supply Planning: lead S&OP process, evaluating the customer and market demand as well as the sales funnel, using statistical forecasting as a baseline. Collaborate with sales, finance, marketing, regulatory and other functional areas to align on a sales demand plan. Monitor and evaluate the performance and make adjustments as necessary. Evaluate all the needs and safety stock parameters, generating the replenishment orders to fulfill the demand. Coordinate all the replenishment orders flow, from placing orders with the manufacturing sites, follow up, customs clearance to goods receipt. Monitor customs and freight costs. Inventory management and E&O (Excess and Obsolete) will be the key deliverables in supply planning.

Import and Export: coordinate all the importation process and if exports is needed, lead this process as well.

Customer Service: coordinate all the order management activities, such as order entry, booking, release as well as invoicing. Responsible for RTG (Revenue To Go) projections based on the backlog report. Monitor all the issues which prevent an order to be shipped/invoiced, escalating it to the corresponding functions such as finance if an order is in credit hold, manufacturing in case there is no availability, regulatory if an order has any regulatory issue, etc…

Logistics & Distribution: coordinate all the inbound and outbound process, suppliers management, evaluating process improvement making sure the processes are aligned with our standard work. Cold Chain expertise is mandatory since we need to fulfill the temperature control process for storage and transportation.

Procurement: leading all the savings projects which is under this role’s responsibility as well as suppliers management related activities.

EHS: responsible for all EHS activities such as deploying the local requests. Manage compliance with all the EHS regulations, ensuring emergency plans, managing all the documentation required. Act as a main point of contact with other departments.

Fleet: manage all the activities related to fleet.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • +5 years in a leadership role in Supply Chain

  • APICS CPIM certified desired

  • Fluent English, Spanish mandatory

  • Demand and Supply Planning skills

  • Oracle or SAP knowledge

  • Advanced Excel, PowerBI and PowerPoint

  • Change Management

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Portuguese
