Danaher Corporation Director, Strategic Solutions, SCIEX China in Beijing, China

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The incumbent will be responsible for, but not limited to the following duties:

  • As SCIEX China representative, aligned with SCIEX global, LSC and China business leadership, build partnership with third party company to advance and complete OEM project to achieve clinical market success

  • Actively involve and align stakeholders through all phases of the product development process, and identify and track on project risks (commercial/technical) together with the cross function core team

  • Aligned with LSC and SCIEX business strategy, work with across global and local teams to assess and identify business and product opportunities, integrate with and leverage global and local resources to provide differentiated and localized product portfolio to customers and hence to expand the market

  • Develop strategic rationale for the project, compile business and underlying financial plans, and build consensus among global SCIEX and LSC business leadership team and drive the progress

  • Partner with platform legal counsel for intellectual property management (develop/sustain competitive advantages) as it pertains to China as an essential part

  • Know the rules of the game; master the benchmark major MNC and strong local competitors and analyze product competition situation and market dynamics to identify business opportunities and market trends

Facilitate, collaborate and negotiate with third party companies to reach win-win solutions, and build commercial business model (GTM structure, product positioning, resources and implementation plan) to ensure future business success
