Danaher Corporation Market Development Supervisor,Biopharma in Beijing, China

Position Scope:

Serve as the local relay of CE & IAS Biopharma Market in China. Provide regional input and help deploy key initiatives within the region. This role is the marketing champion within the China organization with deep understanding of the local market environment (legal, social, economic environment, market trends, competition, pricing and distribution). Hold the business together with all parties involved in vertical market to ensure business success.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain China Market Model for the vertical market;

  • Develop growth strategies and business plans that will develop new business or increases market share;

  • Work with global business unit and marketing team to define new product opportunities, develop positioning and ensure success during new product introductions; Manage product discontinuation;

  • Define and/or refine the Go to Market strategy based on segmentation, targeting and positioning;

  • Build market intelligence in the vertical market (VOC, KOL key player, competition etc.);

  • Together with marketing and sales team, design and implement marketing and lead-generation programs (conferences, road shows, workshops, VIP events, webpage, webinars, social media etc.) that enable the awareness, interest and preference of the vertical market’s customers;

  • Monitor funnel healthiness from leads to orders with sales and supporting team;

  • Render win-loss analysis regularly and actively monitor competitor activities (regional product offerings, pricing, promotions, etc) in the vertical market;

  • Develop and deliver competitive sales tools (collaterals, battle card, etc.) and sales trainings across China;

  • Establish and maintain the network with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in the vertical market together with in-house team. Establish and maintain relationship and smooth process of Reference site;

  • In collaboration with marketing team to define and execute marketing communication to the industry to build branding in the vertical market;

  • Plan and implement seasonable promotions

教育/经历:

Education/Experience:

  • At least 5 years of successful product management in the Life Sciences market.

  • Prior direct sales and distribution experience an advantage

  • Successful record in growing Life Science products, preferably related to separations sciences, including Capillary Electrophoresis and HPLC.

  • Hands-on experience in CE and mass spectrometry with small molecule and Biopharma analysis knowledge is an advantage.

  • In depth understanding of the separations sciences market in Biopharma segment.

  • Proven track record of leadership of successful new product introductions.

  • Track record of analyzing complicated business issues, synthesizing issues to the salient points, developing resulting action plans and executing for results

  • Track record of winning through share gain in competitive environments

  • Experienced in market research and structured Voice Of the Customer process. Ability to collect, analyse and distil regional market dynamics and trends and concisely communicate to global organization.

  • Able to travel frequently
