As a key member of the Leica Aivia software ( https://www.aivia-software.com/leica-aivia ) algorithm development team developing, improving, and testing innovative machine learning, image-processing, pattern analysis, and object tracking algorithms for microscopy and industrial image analysis applications. You will have the opportunity to formulate, develop and implement:
Deep learning and machine learning technologies and functions for knowledge creation, deployment and applications
2D/3D image analysis and computer vision technologies and functions
2D/3D pattern tracking and kinetic analysis technologies and functions
Speed up and improve existing core technology algorithms and functions for optimal deployment
Strong command in 2D & 3D image processing, and computer vision
Strong knowledge of C++/C# programming and/or python scripting
Working background in developing microscopy and industrial image analysis algorithms
Working experience in machine learning and deep learning
Master of Science degree
Field of study: Electrical engineering, imaging science, computer science, computer engineering, mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering, applied mathematics, or a related field
Pattern recognition, Multiple view geometry
Object detection, tracking and kinetic analysis
3D volume/surface rendering, visualization, and graphics
