In order to strengthen our team we are looking for HR Generalist to support the HR team as well as the business in all HR related tasks such as recruitment, systems (Workday, Taleo, Figgo), employment, HR Statutory compliance, Monthly Returns , Annual Medical Check up for associates , insurance and other HR tasks. This position will be located in Cepheid Manufacturing Plant Bengaluru.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Owning and managing HR Help Desk - Ticketing System (JIRA), Cepheid Connect

  • Filing and maintaining documentation relating to HR procedures, personnel file information, vendor contracts, employment agreements / NCAs

  • Executing WD transactions related to employee life cycle.

  • Coordinating and organizing new hire onboarding and orientation

  • Ensuring Benefits records are timely in place and are correctly maintained

  • Coordinating on ground engagement activities –team activities

  • Maintaining payroll filing system – for Operators on 3rd Party

  • Scheduling interviews with candidates, maintain recruitment tracker

  • Support in monthly returns /annual returns for MII- ESIC, PT , POSH, late working, Form X, Form V etc

  • Managing monthly reports submission of Bengaluru and Chennai plant to Labor Office

  • Auditing of personnel files and request outstanding information from employees.

  • Support in HR audits

  • Reminders for Probation / Immersion meetings and following up on probation / Immersion documents for submission to HR Manager

  • Assisting HRBP with any HR tasks

  • Managing Daily Management / Visual Management for required HR areas

  • Managing 3rd part Operators – Onboarding, Medical Check up, Payroll, Exit , monthly and annual compliance

  • Process and Policy updates for 3rd party associates .

The essential requirements of the job include:

Education and Experience (in years):

  • Master’s Degree in HR

  • =5 years

Physical requirements/abilities:

  • Ability to travel, based on requirement to Chennai Plant (25%)

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Basic understanding and knowledge of Labour Laws

  • Having prior experience in manufacturing
