The Senior PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's PKI infrastructure, including certificate issuance, management, and revocation. The Senior PKI Engineer will also collaborate with other IT teams to ensure the integration of PKI processes into other systems and applications.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Design and implement PKI infrastructure, including certificate issuance, management, and revocation processes and develop and maintain PKI policies, procedures, and standards.

  • Ensure compliance with security policies and regulations related to PKI management and manage and troubleshoot issues related to PKI, including certificate management and revocation.

  • Collaborate with other IT, R&D and Manufacturing Operations teams, to ensure the integration of PKI processes into other systems and application development and conduct regular security audits of the PKI system to identify and address any vulnerabilities or gaps.

  • Manage and maintain Certificate Authority (CA) infrastructure, including root and subordinate CA and develop and deliver PKI training programs for employees to promote security awareness and best practices.

  • Keep up to date with industry trends and new PKI technologies to ensure the organization's system is up to date.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field with several years of experience in PKI management or a related field.

  • Strong knowledge of PKI systems and technologies and certificate lifecycle management, including certificate issuance, management, and revocation and experience with PKI systems, such as Microsoft Certificate Services, OpenSSL, or PKI as a service platform(s).

  • Knowledge of security policies, regulations, and compliance requirements related to PKI management.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address potential security risks and strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and compliance with policies and regulations in terms of a certificate lifecycle management.

  • Ability to adapt to changing technologies and industry trends.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Proficient in various scripting/programming languages, such as Powershell, Python.

  • Familiar with various MDM, NAC and PKIaaS solutions.

  • Experienced with Azure Active Directory B2E/B2B.

  • Familiar with Jira, Confluence, Git, CI/CD.
