Danaher Corporation Sr. HR Manager Europe Manufacturing (m/f/d) in Berlin, Germany

The Senior HR Manager Europe Manufacturing is responsible for the short-term and long-term strategic leadership of all aspects of HR Leadership within the Operations/Manufacturing function for approx. 550 associates. The Senior HR Manager Europe Manufacturing will serve as an advisor, counsel and confidant to our business leaders in Europe on all aspects of human resources. This will incl. in assisting in the planning and development of the appropriate organizational alignment and structures, architecture, and support systems to enhance Hach’s ongoing growth opportunities and objectives.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Demonstrate a customer-facing consulting mindset. Act as a strategic partner to support all client groups in Operations

  • Lead a team of Human Resources professionals and leverage support from cross-functional resources.

  • Develop and advise in the progressive subject area system of the company. Guide people leaders through the performance improvement process, providing counsel to administer corrective action and conducting lawful terminations as needed. Proactively engages with leaders on evaluating, coaching, and enhancing development plans of associates, evaluating broader development needs within the organization and recommending solutions.

  • Foster constructive associate relations across Operations. Understand associate needs and facilitate effective communication channels between leaders and associates. Sponsor and drive events and programs designed to increase associate engagement.

  • Partner with business leaders in our European Operations organization to execute talent strategies for Operations functions inclusive of growth initiatives, leadership development, acquisition of early talent and diversity and inclusion

  • Partner with HR Centers of Excellence and field leadership effectively using and implementing total reward programs and processes including merit review; promotions; special adjustments.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field with 8+ years of HR experience including minimum 3 years as an HR Business Partner

  • Experience with the utilization of continuous improvement best practices (Danaher Business System, Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies)

  • Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional initiatives, processes, or projects

  • Experience consulting, coaching, and influencing leaders and managing expectations

  • Demonstrated leadership through development and mentoring of staff, responsiveness to business needs and motivation of diverse cross-functional teams, including influencing both internal and external members to achieve positive business results

  • Sophisticated and demonstrated skills in mediating, negotiating, coaching, business acumen, and project management

  • Motivated, flexible, and creative leader; able to prioritize, multi-task, and work in a fast-paced, demanding and changing environment.

  • Ability to travel 25%
