Do you want to sell an industry leading product that provides your customer with quality, efficiency and total tissue care?
Join our team as an IHC (Immunohistochemistry) Account Manager and you will be responsible for providing your customers with the best clinical solutions to help their patients receive definitive answers sooner.
Location: Based remotely in the Boston/Eastern MA territory.
How will you be successful?
You will receive the training you need to achieve sales goals and/or market share targets in your assigned territory through the implementation of resourceful, direct end-user selling techniques.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Plan and schedule face-to-face account calls to current and potential end-users of Leica products.
- Install/set-up instrumentation in customer laboratories. Perform demonstrations.
- Assist FSS to optimize antibodies and tailor slide quality to the approval of pathology staff.
- Prepare monthly territory status reports to Regional Sales manager.
- Manage operating expenses within assigned budgets
- Maintain accurate and current customer contact information.
- Proactively act to understand customer needs and identify solutions; actively creates business opportunities
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, annual and sales goals for the territory.
Education: BA/BS in Life Sciences or equivalent
Experience/Skills: * 1-3 years Histology laboratory experience in clinical, research or industrial setting preferred * 1-3 years capital sales experience required * Experience with Microsoft office including word, excel, and outlook preferred * Experience with Salesforce.com preferred * Must Possess a valid Driver’s license * Required travel will range from 50%- 75% * Ability to travel overnight for territory coverage (if applicable) and/or for company meeting
