Job Summary:

Molecular Devices is seeking to hire a Bioimaging Sales Specialist dedicated to the ImageXpress Pico high content imaging system. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team responsible for driving revenue by accelerating research in collaborator’s imaging laboratories.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Achieve North America goals & targets, via proficient closing of Pico imaging business

  • Perform instrument and software demonstrations for customers onsite and remotely

  • Execute effective lead generation in diverse life science markets

  • Maintain an up-to-date customer database in Salesforce.com resulting in accurate forecasting

  • Balance growth via direct and robust distribution channels

  • Call points include pharma, biotech, academia, and other life sciences institutes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a related Life Sciences field.

  • A minimum of 2 years of field sales experience selling into the life science or drug discovery industry

  • Must be willing to travel up to 50% - 75% under certain circumstances

  • Knowledge of Cellular Imaging/ Microscopy technology is the ideal candidate we need for this role.

  • Experience with Microsoft applications, Salesforce.com, CRM Database or similar

  • Track record of successful Capital Equipment sales/customer facing experience.
