To strengthen IDBS’ ability to lead the way in this sector, we are hiring a Commercial Director who will be responsible for developing and executing our Biologics Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy. Reporting directly to the VP of Product Strategy, this leadership position will additionally act as a senior advisor in devising IDBS’ product and solution roadmap, by sponsoring project proposals to further support acquisition of market share as well as balancing the attractiveness of the broader investment portfolio of projects to best achieve IDBS’ overall commercial goals.

The successful candidate will already be a recognized thought leader in the segment and will achieve success in the role by leveraging IDBS resources in a matrix structure and aligning the indirect team (including sales, product, marketing, solution consulting) to ensure the successful execution of the footprint expansion and roadmap strategies.

Background/Experience: Deep global pharma and life sciences background and knowledge of buying customer patterns and buying criteria Strong commercial acumen with the gravitas and persona to present IDBS as a credible thought leader in the market Results focused and can be relied upon to achieve goals Outstanding communication and presentation skills, internally and externally (ability to articulate complex scientific workflows and scenarios in a manner that is understandable by non-science / technically trained associates and that focuses on positive business outcome) High potential individual capable of capitalizing on further career growth opportunities, either within IDBS or the broader Danaher family post achievement of the strategic goals in 2020
