What you’ll do
Manage a team of employees and contractors responsible for DevOps and Operations.
Ensure operational excellence to keep our commercial applications running smoothly. Define and run efficient support processes and lead the support team
Lead DevOps to define, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate configuration management, define infrastructure as code, and own supporting processes
Proactively monitor, manage, and maintain global infrastructure and all tools adopted
Enhance Agile Development and Scrum maturity. Manage scrum masters and release planning.
Work closely with development teams to drive the adoption of tools and best practices throughout the secure software development lifecycle and provide insight into operational, security, and performance considerations.
Make decisions regarding employment, training, and development. Conduct performance appraisals for direct reports. Develop talent through mentoring and promoting continuous learning.
Who you are
Experienced – You have a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in building and operating large-scale, enterprise-wide applications and cloud-based digital solutions. You also have a minimum of 5 years of people management experience
Automation Lover – You are passionate about standardizing, automating and eliminating tasks
Detail and Process Oriented – You naturally set up repeatable processes and enjoy the details
Realistic and Adaptable – You know what will work and what won’t. You accept reality as it is and forge a realistic path to get from where we are to where we should be.
Data Lover – You know your numbers, you value metrics and you influence the whole team to make decisions based on data
Self Sufficient – You are comfortable with ambiguity. You take initiative but know when to seek guidance.
Knowledgeable – You have experience with software development and operations tools (Jira, Confluence, Github, Jenkins, Datadog, etc.) You have experience in cloud services (AWS, Azure).
