This Microscopy Account Manager role is critical in managing accounts thru direct and/or dealer relationships in the Life Sciences sector. You will build and maintain customer relationships while driving sales growth with 2 major product lines. You will build out business plans, network to identify and drive sales opportunities thru all Leica Microsystems applications (excluding Medical/Surgical). Responsible for complete product portfolio management.

Responsibilities: * Develop strategies designed to increase sales and specifically recommends product, pricing, advertising and sales promotion strategies * Identify customer gaps and equate to sales opportunity * Conduct analysis and performance evaluation of all sales in assigned region; sales calls, follow up on sales leads, attend trade shows, etc. * Identify customer need and evaluate a solution for them * Coordinate and/or conduct product demonstrations * Moving successful demonstrations to sales order and close * Exceeds customer needs by identifying and utilizing appropriate team resources

Product Lines: Confocal Microscopy – used for imaging in Life Sciences Widefield Products

Target Markets: Medical Schools and Life Science Research Laboratories & Universities


* BA, BS OR MS degree in scientific field * 3 year in-depth Microscopy experience required

Desired Education, Experience, Skills * Sales experience preferred, but not required

Travel: 50-75%
