As the Product Manager for the IDBS Cloud Platform, you will take accountability for defining our strategy and executing the roadmap for the underpinning technology that enables teams across IDBS to deliver novel products and solutions to our customers. In addition, you will serve as the public face of the IDBS Cloud, supporting sales enablement and marketing campaigns, to educate both internal and external customers on the benefits and technical capabilities of our SaaS products.

In this new role, you will:

  • Work directly with the leadership and product teams to support the development of new products and make life cycle recommendations for our existing SaaS product portfolio.

  • Develop business cases and roadmaps for the platform to ensure the security, reliability, scalability, and automation of our deployed customer products and solutions.

  • Create and maintain content to onboard and train our sales and marketing teams as to the business benefits and technical merits of our SaaS platform.

  • Support sales engagements such as RFP preparation, customer workshops and trade show presentations.

  • Collaborate with Engineers to break down large programmes into deliverable projects. and use the technical knowledge to contribute to systems design where needed.

In this opportunity, we are looking for:

  • Ability to build business case that prioritize technical investments in the platform that align and drive IDBS’ overall strategy and business goal.

  • Product Management or Product Owner experience developing SaaS products using agile methodologies to drive product development at speed

  • Ex-engineer or have experience in a hands-on technical role; need to understand the systems IDBS are working on in detail

  • Ability to lead large-scale programs of work across multiple teams

  • Experience (development/operational) working with Kubernetes, microservice architecture and cloud technologies

  • Strong communication and presentation capabilities, internally and externally. Ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a manner that is understandable by non- technically trained associates and that focuses on positive business outcome.

  • Flexible and able to prioritize competing issues and deadlines

  • Proven track record to work with cross-functional, geographically distributed teams, that include both internal and external (3rd party partners) resources
