As a Senior Data Scientist/machine learning engineer you will take accountability for development & delivery of Analytics solutions in order to provide insights & improvement to business processes and solving business problems. You will play a meaningful role in our Data Science Team, designing, building, deploying and maintaining analytics solutions. As an experienced engineer you will also provide hands-on experience in Machine Learning, AI, Statistical analysis and visualizations. You will work closely with other teams in their related journeys. You will gain exposure to a wide range of our software modules and the technologies backing them, e.g. cloud, microservices, database, data lakes, cloud warehouses, BI and analytics tools, AI/ML libraries among others.
Participate in designing, implementing and keep improving IDBS data and analytics platforms.
Help Professional Services, Solutions Consultant and R&D organization in implementing data analytics solutions for customers, preparing RFI’s and RFP’s.
Identify customer needs, propose solutions, and assist in all aspects from inception through delivery.
Helping in testing new technologies for the company in line with the company’s digital strategy around Analytics.
Study and transform data science prototypes, design machine learning systems, run tests and experiments.
Extend existing ML libraries and frameworks
Interested in this opportunity? You'll need to bring:
Bachelors or Advanced degree in informatics, bioinformatics, statistics, or related sciences.
5+ years of experience preferred in Informatics projects involving analytics, ML and AI.
Experienced with relevant topics in Machine Learning
Deep knowledge of math, probability, statistics and algorithms
Experience in deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, etc and familiar with state-of-the-art Machine Learning and Deep Learning models
Strong knowledge of Python, R or similar languages
Understanding of data structures, data modelling and software architecture
Ability to assess situations (and data) from multiple viewpoints; communicate by presenting facts and data; challenge and debate issues of importance to the organization effectively.
